This tour is only for those who are visiting Sri Lanka to buy gems. The pearl of Indian ocean, Sri Lanka is a beautiful island abundant in natural gem stones. Due to the abundance of gems the island was also known as Ratna-dweepa (land of gems) as it produces 71 varieties of valuable gemstones. The gems found in Sri Lanka are always in high demand because of the rarity and superb quality of the gemstones.

Welcome to Sri Lanka. On your arrival you will be welcomed by us and at the airport and you will be headed to Negombo – the closest coastal city to the airport. You will be enjoying your first day in Sri Lanka relaxing by the seaside and enjoying delicious Sri Lankan food including mouth-watering traditional dishes prepared using the freshest catch of the day. If you arrive early, you get the opportunity to explore the town sightseeing the local fish market, religious sites and beach. Night spend at Negombo.
After enjoying a hearty Sri Lankan home-cooked breakfast, including mouth-watering local food items, your private vehicle will take you to Rathnapura – the city of gems. You have the opportunity to sightsee the gem mines and gem museums and at the same time we can take you to trusted gem dealers and gem shops where you can buy the best quality gems.
Spend the day in Rathnapura and in the evening you will be taken back to Negombo where you will spend the night, or if your flight is scheduled on the same day you will be taken to the airport.
