Christmas in Ceylon
Although the snow is a stranger to the Ceylonese Christmas, the festivity is there throughout the Decembers. The streets decorated with dazzling lights and Christmas trees, Chimes of the bells and buzzing of the crowds make the season festive. Not only the Church goers but also the whole island dwellers are excited about the Christmas eves. The magical touch of the Ceylonese Christmas enhances the joviality of the seasons while celebrating the purity of the sacred birth. All these festivities are magnified in the central highlands of the Sri Lanka. With all these English weathers and chilly breezes Nuwaraeliya, makes itself a little England in Christmas seasons.
